Andrew Cardy


Andrew Cardy is an Auckland based CEO and Director. Prior to joining Intercoll, Andrew built award winning e-commerce business, mym.co.nz of which he remains a director. Andrew’s strengths are strategy development and market penetration. Andrew is now spearheading major strategic shifts for transforming IT from a functional focus to an enabler of innovation for Intercoll. 

When away from his desk, Andrew spends his time with his wife and two teenage boys and preferably with a fishing rod in hand.

Mark Francis


Mark Francis started in the debt collection industry in 1995. His pragmatic and honest approach is refreshing in a world of jargon and corporate speak. As somebody who has worked at multiple levels of the debt collection industry on a wide and exciting variety of debts he understands amicable debt collection at several levels. This allows him to motivate collection teams to mediate issues as they arise while still achieving outstanding results. This Waikato-born father of three adult children relaxes with good books and is currently enjoying a penchant for Korean food.

Shane Kaulima


Shane has worked within the finance and collections industry for over 20 years, having held leadership roles with a major finance company for the last 15. Shane is focussed on simplification, automation, engagement and growth. Over the last 15 years he has managed teams in Collections, Cards, Personal loans, Mortgages, strategy and performance, compliance, automation, as well as data & analytics. Shane brings with him a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the tight knit, dynamic and exciting Intercoll team.

Outside work Shane loves spending time with his wife and 3 children.

William Preece


William has been with Intercoll since 2010. with 14 years total experience in collections is now running our field services team.  A hands on approach is crucial in this industry and William is keeping reality in check when it comes to juggling compliance and results in an ever changing environment. Work hard play hard is true of Intercoll’s main frame and William can usually be found fly fishing in remote South Pacific locations in his spare time.

Linda Starke


Linda has been with Intercoll since 2014 working her way up through the ranks with a steely determination. She now has oversight of a number of  areas within the company and loves the constant challenge of the industry and its staff.  She has a background in banking, hospitality and property renovation and has never been known to shy away from a glass of bubbles. Linda also loves anything outdoorsy, and although a real home lover also likes travelling when time permits.

Kieran Stott


Kieran Stott joined the team in 2011 and quickly recognised both a challenge and an opportunity within the industry. He joined the team as a front line collector. His role within Intercoll is to ensure that all of our field agents are adhering to strict codes of practice set out by our Board of Directors within every interaction on a day to day basis.

Kieran is a keen hot rodder and can be found on any sunny weekend cruising with his wife and children or tinkering in his garage.

Yulia Rosser


Yulia joined the company in 2016 as the Company Accountant, her role is integral to all financial aspects of the business. She has a wide range of experience in accounting, project managing and administration.

Former Les Mills Personal Trainer, she can be found at the gym or out and about with her family when she’s not at her desk.

Gaynor McIntosh


Gaynor has been with Intercoll for the most part of 10 years and is Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors. Gaynor used to be a travel agent in a previous life and loves organising Intercoll's annual conferences.

She has a passion for travel, is an avid reader and loves spending time with her family.


Simon Freeman


Simon Freeman founded the company in 1997. Since then he has steered the company to being a major contender and 'disruptive' player within the industry. Simon has a reputation for finding unique solutions for unique debt issues and maintains a passion for the industry. Whilst having taken a back seat in recent years he remains involved and instrumental in company affairs and direction. A dedicated family man, Simon spends most of his recreational time on the ski field, fishing or working on one of his many philanthropic projects.
